Jeff has had the privilege to learn from many mentors in his career, been exposed to and participated in numerous skill based and development trainings, has been an avid reader and listener of leadership, personal development, psychology, and management books and recordings that continue to shape his attitude, philosophy, and business.
Jeff is originally from northeastern Ohio, graduated from The Ohio State University, married his wife, moved to the San Francisco Bay Area for twelve years where they both grew in their formal business experience in the emerging Silicon Valley (hi-tech and biotech industries), started their family (today – two grown sons), relocated to Chicago in 1994 for business opportunities and to be closer to extended families.

Ray became an owner of a SMI franchise in 1992. In 2002, he transitioned into LMI and he was recognized as Rookie of the Year. He is one of 15 senior partners with Leadership Management Institute, USA. Ray brings his experience and LMI’s comprehensive organizational development process to our clients assisting them in achieving the results they specify.
Ray is experienced in working with small, medium, and large accounts providing them a depth of knowledge dealing with the challenges companies face in today’s marketplace. He has successfully managed, mentored, and developed many successful people in organizations during his career including companies such as Sealed-Air, Eagle Flexible Packaging, Uni-lock, Cingular Wireless, FLEXOgrafix, Peak Marketing & Sales, and Perrino and Associates.
Ray has a Bachelor of Science degree in aerospace engineering and an M.B.A. from Loyola University. He has 30 years of experience in executive and management positions. Ray was also responsible for the development and training of a nationwide sales organization. He was a certified instructor in quality management and an instructor at DeVry University and the Keller Graduate School of Management. Ray enjoys public speaking and has facilitated over 500 workshops in the Midwest.
Ray is most proud of his marriage of 43 years to his wife, Mary, their 3 children Bridget, Ryan and Shaun and his wife Laura and his grandson Owen and granddaughter Emily. They reside in LaGrange, Illinois.

Recognized as a trusted advisor, strategist, and conceptual thinker, Brian provides leadership development training as a natural outgrowth of his legacy consulting services such as traditional business profitability consulting, forensic analysis, and expert reporting and testimony. His proven business skills include management and leadership, large-scale operations, business development, corporate strategy, due diligence, M&A, P&L responsibility, and international consulting.
Brian’s approaches business opportunities with real world early work experiences, uniquely augmenting LMI’s renowned training tools. Brian was shaped by many impactful manual labor jobs leading up to his formal education and professional experiences. His education includes a B.S., Business Administration, from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. He also earned an MBA from Loyola University of Chicago and a J.D. from IIT Chicago-Kent College of Law, while working full time.
For the last 17 years, Brian dovetailed his experience as an executive at Ameritech (now AT&T) and his graduate education into a career as a leader in the big firm litigation support consulting industry. His work frequently resulted in detailed industry financial and economic research and formal in-person presentations to major law firms, large professional associations, Federal Courts, and AAA arbitration hearings.
Brian provides a useful perspective with clients by sharing key take-aways from a variety of business structures over his career. Brian observes that structure and leadership skills directly impact the daily motivation and productivity of employees, and the economic incentives of managers and leaders. Such business structures include large publicly traded corporations, LLC memberships, classic partnerships, and smaller partnerships with non-partner employees. Like many of LMI Chicago’s clients, Brian owns and operates his own business (LLC).
Brian continually invests in his extended family, and many wonderful friends. Brian and his wife of 28 years, Lynn (also Illini), are the proud parents of three active daughters - two in college, one proudly graduated from The University of Illinois in the business world. He connects with his community and continually networks with lifelong friends, classmates, business colleagues, coaches, and spiritual teammates. Brian enjoys volunteering, all sports, music, especially vintage guitars, reading trends in leadership development, exercise, coaching, and original music/video recording, publication, and promotion.

Peg works with clients to improve their business practices and design educational programs that create permanent understanding and change throughout the organization. She combines her ability to manage large projects that require the expertise of bringing teams together to accomplish large organizational goals with her passion for education as a means to affect change. Peg has designed and implemented blended education and training needs in a large international organization.

Peg consults, teaches and speaks on Best Practices, Change Management, Project Management and E-learning as well as many soft skills. She has been a speaker at ISM (formally NAPM) and APICS.
Peg Lambert received her bachelors in Psychology with studies in Business from Northwestern University. She received her Master’s in Education/Distance Learning from The University of Phoenix in 2004.

Armando was first introduced to LMI through its Success Motivation Institute division in 1973. He has been a “Product of the Product” ever since, learning, applying, and sharing his experience through the years. Armando was born in Mexico. He and his family moved to Chicago when he was six years old. With the exception of returning to Mexico for his college years, to study computer curriculum at the Institute of Technology in Monterrey, Mexico, he has lived and worked in Chicago, IL ever since.

Armando graduated from the City Colleges of Chicago. His primary focus in college and various corporations throughout the years has been in computer programming, systems analysis, directing CIS, and college lecturing at Harold Washington, Malcolm X, and Oakton Community Colleges (computer related classes for over 16 years).
Armando is passionate about LMI and how our programs and processes can positively change lives. In fact, he credits LMI with leading him to his wife of 40 years! Armando and his wife have four children and two grandchildren.

Rene De Coning has over 30 years’ leadership experience in various capacities. She has a passion for mentoring and growing leaders and believes that leadership behavior can be nurtured at all levels in an organization. A career market researcher, she is a skilled facilitator and strategist.

Rene was born in Johannesburg, South Africa. She relocated to the Chicago area with her family in 2007 while working for a multi-national company. Her experience in the corporate world, especially in retail and energy, provides her with a multitude of skills she is pleased to bring to her new career with LMI Chicago.
Rene has a degree in Business and Economics from the University of Johannesburg. She and her husband are the proud parents of two grown sons. She loves working with youth and leads a peer mentoring program at her local church.
